Prepare to Thrive
Many pregnant women worry about working out.
What exercises are truly safe?
Are there any that are off-limits?
Is it better to push pause until after the baby’s born?
You can do more than you think!
It’s true you need to be cautious about certain movements—and I’ll teach you exactly what that looks like. But research confirms the benefits of exercise during pregnancy far outweigh the risks.
Exercise Benefits for You
Easier labor and delivery
Less back pain
Better mood
Reduced risk of preeclampsia
Decreased likelihood of c-section, induced labor,
and episiotomy
Exercise Benefits for Your Baby
Increased placental function
More mature brain function
Better motor development
Healthier heart function
Reduced risk of obesity later in life
Mindset matters, too.
You might have come here looking just for exercise recommendations for pregnancy—and you’ll get loads of that good stuff here. But having a healthy, happy pregnancy (and beyond!) is about more than movement. That’s why Prepare to Thrive addresses your mental and emotional health, too.
Madison Pinebird
certified pre- and postnatal coach, personal trainer, functional strength coach, and sports and exercise nutrition coach
Hi, I’m Madison.
I’m so glad you’re here.
There’s no doubt pregnancy can be tough (especially that first trimester!). But if you’re anything like me, you don’t want to just get through it. You want to soak up every minute of it.
Can I tell you something? To do that, you have to put your well-being first.
I know, I know: As mamas, it’s natural to put everyone’s needs ahead of our own. But “you can’t pour from an empty cup” isn’t just a catchy saying. The key to building a thriving family is to take care of your physical, mental, and emotional health first.
I can’t wait to show you how.
You’re training for the toughest, most important workout of your life. You deserve this.

Does Prepare to Thrive include workout videos?
And other common questions…
When should I take Prepare to Thrive?
Ideally, you’d begin Prepare to Thrive in your late-first or early-second trimester. But even if you’re in the home stretch, you’ll get a ton of practical guidance for labor, delivery, and postpartum.
I've never really worked out before. Is this program for me?
With your doctor’s OK, yes!
Does this program include workout videos?
Yes! In addition to the basic demonstration videos, you receive 10 complete, 45-minute workouts.
What if I want more workouts?
What you learn will help you design your own safe, effective workout plans. If you prefer to have someone tell you exactly what to do, watch for our membership program coming in 2022. (Prepare to Thrive customers will be eligible for an exclusive discount!)
What's your refund policy?
If you don’t love Prepare to Thrive, let me know within 30 days of your purchase and I’ll get you a refund.
I have a diagnosed pelvic floor dysfunction. Can I do this?
Before engaging in the exercise portions of Prepare to Thrive, you’ll need to work with a physician or pelvic floor physical therapist. In the meantime, you’ll still get so much out of the other lessons.
I don't mean to be rude, but why should I trust you?
I’m so glad you asked. It shows me you take your and your baby’s health and safety seriously!
I’m a Certified Pre- and Postnatal Coach (CPPC), a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT), a Functional Strength Coach (CFSC), and a sports and exercise nutritionist (PN1). I’ve been in the fitness industry for nearly a decade, and I’ve helped hundreds of women just like you!
How long is the course?
Prepare to Thrive includes 11 lessons that range in length from 2 to 15 minutes. I know you have a lot going on, so they’re intentionally short!
What equipment do I need for the program?
I’d recommend having a yoga mat, mini bands, and a medium set of dumbbells. I put together a blog on creating a home gym under $150, click here to read it!
How long do I have access to the course, and how do I watch it?
Your purchase includes lifetime access. Prepare to Thrive is housed in an online learning platform called Kajabi, and you can access it from any device connected to the internet.
